The Timeline
It all began one day in June, when Sonit receives a call from his father who was already into industrial machinery soundproofing products since 2001 informing that he has given his contact for some studio soundproofing. They both did not know what a music studio was. Sonit did not receive any call but out of anxiety he researched over it and planned to follow something which was connected music.
With little knowledge about the product and free marketing , Sonit got a call from a renowned Studio asking for soundproofing products and services for their music studio. The meeting was a fail due to zero awareness of the acoustic products offered by Sonit and asked in return “ Do you have rockwool or any other wool ? “
After making a proper strategy, attaining knowledge of the product, development of easy, effective DIY products, Certification for their performance and R&D, Acoustic Foam was launched in the market under the brand “ MMT Acoustix®”.
Developed Pyramid, Wedge, Egg Tray Acoustic foam panels in only charcoal colour and installed at a friend’s place who played drums. With struggle in marketing and aim to reach all the music heads in the country we could keep going.
We got our first cutting facility to provide tiles to our customers for better designs, performance and acoustics. Also introduced new products for Noise Blocking Isolation and Flooring.
New colours were launched, fingers crossed, “ MMT Orange & Studio Purple” and honestly “ We thank you guys for the support “ .
Launched 80 new products including SoundAxe, Turbo Acoustic Foam, Echsorbix and SoundBlanket . We were ready to expand with an aim to motivate, help, reach and uplift singers, drummers, guitarist, music recorders, vocalists, rappers and everyone who belonged to music. MMT Acoustix will always be keen to be your soundproofing and acoustic partner.
