A carpet tile is one of the most effective floor treatments for controlling noise in a busy interior. The tufted loop pile breaks up and absorbs airborne reverberation across speech and mid-high frequencies, so rooms sound calmer and speech stays intelligible. Underneath, the cushioned bitumen backing dampens footfall and impact energy before it transmits to the floor below. Because each tile is a 50 × 50 cm module, a worn or damaged tile is simply lifted and replaced — no re-flooring, no disruption.

Modular tiles install far faster than broadloom with almost no offcut wastage, and any tile can be lifted later for under-floor access or replacement. Two fixing methods cover most Mexico commercial projects.

Loose Lay / Tackifier

Prepare subfloor
Clean, level and dry. The heavy bitumen backing sits flat over screed, tile or raised access floors.

Apply tackifier
A release adhesive holds tiles in place but lets them be lifted later — ideal for access-floor and churn-heavy offices.

Set the layout
Lay from the centre out in monolithic, quarter-turn, ashlar or mix-and-match. Worn tiles swap out individually.

What is the difference between the three ranges?+
All three share the 50 × 50 cm format, 100% polypropylene pile and cushioned bitumen backing. Level Loop (550 gsm, 4 mm) and Solid Loop (500 gsm, 4 mm) are tufted level-loop tiles for offices, corridors and boardrooms. Multi-Level Loop (580 gsm, 4 to 5 mm, with a non-woven primary backing) has a textured surface and a six-colour palette for zoning, breakout and wayfinding.
How are the tiles installed in a Mexico office?+
