Hard, flat ceilings and large open volumes reflect sound instead of absorbing it, blurring speech and music. Ceiling Clouds or Baffles absorb that reflected energy so announcements stay clear.
HVAC drone travels through the ceiling plenum. BassBloc above the ceiling near ducting absorbs it before it reaches guests — no HVAC modification needed.
MLV alone gets STC 27-35 through mass. Adding Rockwool inside the cavity absorbs sound within it, pushing STC well higher — used for walls needing stricter 4-5 star compliance.
