Coat both the installation surface and the back of the SoundBlanket membrane with Turbo SR Adhesive. Allow to become tacky for 3 to 5 minutes, then press firmly into place. For walls, start from the bottom and work upward. For floors, start from the centre outward.
Secure the membrane using nails or mechanical fasteners along all edges and corners for additional hold, especially important for wall and ceiling applications where gravity acts against adhesive bond. Space fasteners every 30cm along the perimeter.
Overlap each sheet by a minimum of 1cm at all joints to prevent sound flanking through gaps. Tape overlaps with butyl acoustic tape for airtight sealing. Once installed, cover with finish layer: gypsum, HDHMR, carpet, LVT, or Echsorbix Felt Panels, depending on your Mexico system.
