Wood Wool
Acoustic Panels
in Dubai
India's biggest acoustic manufacturer — cement bonded WDWL® Wood Wool panels engineered from just three natural materials: wood fibre, cement, and water. Class A absorption up to Aw 1.00, B-s1 d0 fire rated per EN 13501-1, available in 16 colours across 4 design families and 8 Mirage grooving patterns. Custom cut to project specification and shipped to Dubai via air and sea freight.
Designed for
Timeless Interiors
WDWL® Acoustic Wood Wool panels are where natural simplicity meets refined design. Crafted from wood fibre and cement, they offer not just superior sound absorption and thermal insulation, but a luxury surface finish that speaks to modern architectural sensibilities. The warmth of wood, bonded with the strength and fire resistance of cement, creates a panel that is as functional as it is beautiful.
Certified Configurations,
Class A Absorption
More than 20 certified WDWL® configurations have achieved Absorption Class A in reverberation chamber tests, meaning they absorb 90 to 100% of incident sound energy. The configurations below allow Dubai consultants, architects, and acousticians to select the right combination of panel depth, ceiling height, and finish to meet both technical and aesthetic project goals.
| Configuration | Aw | Class | H (mm) | 125 Hz | 250 Hz | 500 Hz | 1000 Hz | 2000 Hz | 4000 Hz |

One Panel, Eight Surface Languages
Every space demands a surface treatment that complements its architecture while preserving acoustic performance. Each Mirage groove pattern is CNC routed into the WDWL® panel face — 600 × 1200 mm format — without compromising the Class A absorption rating of the underlying assembly.
Flat, unrouted WDWL® face. The cleanest expression of cement bonded wood wool — preferred for restrained, minimalist Dubai interiors.
Grid routed cells across the panel face. A precise, architectural rhythm — frequently specified for DIFC and Downtown corporate fit outs.
Diamond cross routed pattern. Adds tactile depth without visual weight — used widely in Dubai's hospitality and F&B interiors.
Vertical channels routed along the 1200 mm length. Reads as elongation — preferred for tall ceilings and lobby walls.
Horizontal banded grooves. A graphic, mid weight pattern often paired with restaurants and creative co working interiors.
Concentric arched routes. A softer architectural reference now appearing across boutique hotels and wellness spaces in Dubai.
45 degree routed lines. Movement and direction — used to anchor focal walls in showrooms, retail, and feature lobbies.
Concentric curved routes. The most sculptural Mirage pattern — frequently called for in auditoriums and premium villa interiors.
16 Shades, 4 Design Families
Sixteen factory dyed wood wool finishes organised into four design families. Each shade penetrates the wood fibres before cement bonding, meaning the colour is integral to the panel — not a surface coating. Every family is matched to a different Dubai interior palette, from corporate restraint to hospitality warmth.

Two Installation Methods,
Both Site Proven in Dubai
WDWL® panels install on walls and ceilings using two distinct methods, both well understood by Dubai contractors and acoustic installers. Full installation drawings and BOQ support provided on request.
Measure the wall layout, mark panel positions with a chalk line, and align panel edges flush with adjacent panels or architectural elements.
Install panels using stainless steel screws at all four corners and one centre point. Pre drilling is optional for the 25 mm and 35 mm thicknesses.
Touch up exposed screw heads with matching panel colour from the 16 shade palette for a seamless, monolithic surface finish.
Fix the T-grid suspension system to the soffit at 600 × 600 mm or 1200 × 600 mm spacing, depending on the panel module specified.
Carefully drop each WDWL® panel into the grid slots from below. Panels rest on the T-grid flange — no fasteners required for standard ceiling work.
For Dubai's HVAC heavy ceiling zones, apply acoustic adhesive on panel edges for added stability and to prevent vibration rattle over time.
Why Dubai Architects
Specify WDWL® Wood Wool
Aw up to 1.00 in certified configurations, absorbing 90 to 100% of incident sound energy from 125 Hz to 4000 Hz. The broadband performance Dubai consultants specify for auditoriums, schools, and restaurants.
Cement bonding inhibits mould and fungal growth. WDWL® panels remain microbiologically stable in Dubai's high humidity coastal zones and air conditioned interiors over decades of use.
One panel system, three surface applications. Specify the same WDWL® product across wall, ceiling, and floor zones in the same project for visual continuity and BOQ simplicity.
Bend strength up to 1700 kPa and compression resistance ≥ 300 kPa. WDWL® panels installed in Dubai 15 years ago still perform to specification today.
Three natural ingredients: wood, cement, water. No barium, no formaldehyde, no plastic binders. The most sustainable Class A acoustic surface available in the Dubai market.
Impact resistant cement bonded structure. Survives ball impact, accidental knocks, and contractor handling on busy Dubai construction sites without surface damage.
Where WDWL® Panels
Are Specified in Dubai
From five star hotels along JBR to KHDA registered schools, DIFC corporate towers, and the cinema halls of Reel and VOX — WDWL® wood wool panels are specified wherever broadband acoustic absorption, fire safety, and refined architectural finish are equally important.
WDWL® panels in lobby ceilings, ballrooms, and corridor walls of Dubai's five star hotels. The natural surface finish complements premium interiors while Class A absorption controls reverberation in large volume spaces.
Open plan workspaces in Dubai International Financial Centre, d3, and Dubai Knowledge Park use WDWL® on ceiling clouds and feature walls to reduce reverberation time and improve speech intelligibility in meeting zones.
KHDA registered schools across Dubai specify WDWL® on classroom ceilings and auditorium walls. B-s1 d0 fire rating meets UAE Civil Defence requirements while Class A absorption meets the Dubai Building Code reverberation targets.
Cinema chains, post production suites, and corporate auditoriums in Dubai use WDWL® rear walls and side splays in dyed dark finishes. The Mirage Curve and Diagonal patterns deliver both diffusion geometry and visible architectural identity.
F&B operators across Downtown, City Walk, and La Mer specify WDWL® panels for warm, tactile ceilings that bring restaurant noise floor down to comfortable conversation levels without resorting to felt or fabric.
Dubai Health Authority registered clinics and hospitals install WDWL® in waiting zones, consultation rooms, and patient corridors. Anti microbial cement bonding and B-s1 d0 fire rating align with both DHA and UAE Civil Defence requirements.
