Vishnu Acharya This was my first proper acoustic treatment for the office lounge, so I started with a simple layout. I was looking for a solution that could soften the acoustics without turning the office lounge into a technical-looking studio. The ceiling clouds appealed to me because the treatment could become part of the interior rather than something I would want to hide. Before ordering, I spent time on the MMT Acoustix website comparing the use case, size and basic installation information. That helped set the right expectation: PET acoustic treatment is mainly about controlling reflections and reverberation inside the room, not creating a complete barrier against noise coming through walls, doors or windows. When the order arrived, the first thing I noticed was the consistency of the felt surface and the cut edges. I laid the pieces out on the floor before fixing anything so I could check spacing and alignment. That small step made the final installation look much more deliberate. The 2x2 Ft format worked well for my layout, although I would recommend calculating actual coverage rather than estimating quantity only from a photograph of the wall. Because this was a ceiling treatment, the installation needed more planning than a simple wall panel. The benefit was that we could keep the main walls open while adding absorption above the occupied area. The acoustic change was easiest to notice during speech. The room has less lingering energy after a sentence, calls feel clearer, and sharp reflections are reduced. It is not silence and it is not soundproofing, but it is the kind of improvement I was actually trying to achieve. Packaging on my order was protective and the panels reached in usable condition. I also appreciated being able to speak with someone for a practical placement question instead of relying only on generic marketplace descriptions. There were cheaper felt products available online, but I was more comfortable buying from a company focused on acoustics. Once I considered the finish, product information, packaging and support, the pricing felt competitive rather than simply expensive. If I were doing the room again, I would start by identifying the most reflective surfaces, treat a sensible area, listen to the change and then add more only if required. That approach gives a better result than covering every wall without a plan.

Janani Menon We installed these in a conference room where speech was bouncing off too many hard surfaces. Sarath Nagesh I used these in my conference room after struggling with a fairly reflective room. The room sounds less sharp when several people are speaking.

Maya Ward I used these in my classroom after struggling with a fairly reflective room. The edges were clean when the panels arrived. The panels look more finished than generic felt sheets. The design adds texture without making the wall feel too busy. Treating the ceiling made sense in this room because we wanted to keep the walls visually open.

Matthew Gray I chose this product for a office lounge because I wanted the acoustic treatment to also look intentional. The product page helped me understand that this is acoustic treatment, not full soundproofing. The on-call guidance was useful when I was deciding placement. The material feels firm enough to handle during installation. Treating the ceiling made sense in this room because we wanted to keep the walls visually open.
Precision Ceiling Absorption
Strategically suspended acoustic panels built to enhance clarity in offices, classrooms, and auditoriums.
Reverberation Control
Ceiling clouds are designed to reduce echo and excessive reverberation in enclosed spaces. They absorb reflected sound waves before they build up within the room. This results in clearer speech and improved acoustic comfort.
Suspended Design
Mounted horizontally below the structural ceiling, clouds create an acoustic layer without covering the entire ceiling area. This maintains openness while improving performance. Proper suspension height enhances absorption efficiency.
Targeted Absorption
Clouds are positioned strategically above activity zones such as workstations or seating areas. They directly manage sound reflections in high-usage zones. Coverage planning significantly influences the final acoustic result.
Sound Absorption
Designed to absorb mid and high-frequency reflections within a room. They improve sound clarity but do not block external noise transmission. For soundproofing, structural wall or partition systems are required.
Open Ceilings
Ideal for exposed ceiling concepts where full false ceilings are not practical. They preserve architectural character while adding acoustic function. Suitable for modern commercial and institutional interiors.
Lightweight Build
Manufactured using acoustic-grade core materials that remain lightweight yet stable. They do not excessively load ceiling structures when correctly installed. This makes them suitable for retrofit and new installations.
Installation Ease
Installed using suspension cables, anchors, or mounting kits depending on site conditions. No complex ceiling grid system is necessary. Proper leveling ensures both visual alignment and acoustic efficiency.
Commercial Spaces
Recommended for offices, conference rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, hospitality spaces, and retail areas. Particularly effective in high-ceiling environments. Performance improves when combined with wall acoustic treatments.
Design Integration
Available in multiple shapes, sizes, and finishes to match interior aesthetics. They contribute visually while serving a functional purpose. Acoustic performance and architectural expression work together seamlessly.
