A door is usually the weakest point in a room. It is thinner than the wall around it, and the gaps at its edges let sound pass straight through.

This kit treats the whole door with a single panel cut to size, so there are no joins across the face for sound to find. High density BassBloc sound absorber backing is finished in Echsorbix acoustic felt in your chosen colour, and perimeter seals close the gaps at the edges where most noise actually enters.

Supplied as a single panel cut to your door size, not as small tiles to piece together.

Door perimeter seal tape is included with every kit.

Clean the door face so it is free of dust and grease. Apply adhesive to the back of the panel and to the door, then press the panel into position and hold. It bonds to wooden, metal and plastic doors, and no drilling or hardware is required.

Press the perimeter seal tape into the frame rebate around the door so it compresses lightly when the door closes. Sealing the edges matters as much as covering the face, since a gap of a few millimetres carries a surprising amount of noise.

Dust the felt surface with a soft brush or vacuum on low suction. Wipe marks with a lightly damp cloth. Do not soak, bleach or use solvent cleaners.
