I bought this metal and rubber door-bottom seal for my clinic door after noticing that a surprising amount of air, dust and sound was getting through the gap rather than through the solid part of the door. Before ordering I checked the dimensions and read the installation information because I did not want to treat a simple seal as if it were a complete soundproofing system. The product arrived properly packed and the material itself felt consistent when I opened it. In my case, the included screw fixing made the installation feel permanent. If I were installing it again, I would first clean the surface, measure the gap at several points, dry-fit the position and only then make the final attachment.
